Austrian sailors win at Lake Reschen

8 races were held, 4 on Saturday with a wind force of 8 to 12 knots and 4 races on Sunday with a wind force of 15 knots. 9 teams took part. The organizing Reschensee sailing club provided 5 Soling boats. The overall winner was Christian Spiessberger's Austrian team with 10 points, ahead of the team of former Soling world champion Roman Koch (13 points) and that of Heino Schuckmann (17 points), both from Germany. Christian Spiessberger's team won 5 of the 8 races, Roman Koch's team won 2 races and Heino Schuckmann's team won one race. On Saturday, the team of Arnold Josef Ortler (skipper) and Edith Stecher Ortler was the best Vinschger Tram with two fourth places. On Sunday, the team of Harald Weisenhorn (skipper), Hubert Gunsch and club president René Schöpf made a great impression and reached 2th place twice and 5th place once.
