This 22-year-old turns everyone's head in Merano

Before and after each award ceremony, Ceccon was surrounded by autograph hunters. Anyone who caught a photo with the exceptional artist was really happy. When he was in the water, everyone held their breath and watched his moves in the 50 m pool of the Merano Lido.

The other Azzurri also raved about Meran. Sara Franceschi had been in Meran all week, completing a training camp with some others from the national team. Alberto Razzetti set two new records at the weekend. Over 2 m dolphin on Friday and over 200 m backstroke on Saturday, then he said goodbye to South Tyrol. “I just won the 200m backstroke ahead of Max Litchfield, we train together every day. I had fun, the 200m backstroke was the race I least expected. This is my second time here, but I liked everything here and I hope I can come back,” said the European 200 m individual medley champion in Rome.

Vice world champion Lisa Angiolini (3 wins, 2 meeting records) was most pleased with her winning time on Sunday in the 200 m breaststroke (2.27,29:XNUMX). “That gives us a lot of hope for the Sette Colli meeting.” The last World Cup tickets will be distributed in Rome this weekend.
