Six South Tyroleans will be competing in the final stage on Friday. They include the recovered Lukas Hofer and Dorothea Wierer, Patrick Braunhofer, Hannah Auchentaller, Linda Zingerle, and Rebecca Passler. The latter is back in the lineup for the first time since the home World Cup in Antholz. Passler missed the World Championships this year and now aims to ensure a positive end to the season.
Italy's Holmenkollen lineup is completed by Tommaso Giacomel, Daniele Cappellari, Martina Trabucchi, Samuela Comola, Michela Carrara, and debutant Nicola Romanin. In the women's race, the Azzurre have been waiting all winter for a podium finish. Can Wierer strike in the final? That will likely be difficult, given her recent illness.

One of the greatest biathletes of all time, Johannes Thingnes Bø, will celebrate his grand farewell at Holmenkollen. His older brother, Tarjei, who is also retiring at the end of the season, will also be bid farewell in front of a home crowd. In the overall World Cup, Bø is 104 points behind teammate Sturla Holm Lægreid. This will be difficult to close. The women's shot put battle will be even more exciting, with Franziska Preuß now only 20 points ahead of Lou Jeanmonnot.
