Sprint winner Davidova: “I was scared”

Third-place finisher Marte Olsbu Roeiseland caused a laugh. The Norwegian was asked why she was suddenly so strong this year. Her answer: “Honestly, I don’t know why. But my husband says it’s because I took his last name over the summer.” Dorothea Wierer: “I’m not in shape” Dorothea Wierer was not enthusiastic, but also not dissatisfied with her 8th place. However, the local hero struggles with her shooting speed: “I shot much, much slower than usual. This was because it was difficult for me to breathe, I could hardly breathe. Plus, I'm not in shape at the moment." With the support of her home crowd ("I enjoyed the cheering"), Wierer wants to attack in the pursuit: "15 seconds behind isn't much, anything is possible."
