On Wednesday, August 13, a thrilling ice show titled "The Sound of Freedom" will take place at the Corvara Ice Rink at 21:00 PM. The Albert Pezzei Ice Rink will also be open during the summer months, offering visitors the opportunity to try ice skating.

The evening will open with a solo performance by Felix Oberbacher, a choreographed piece by the local group Ice Club Alta Badia. It's a performance that ushers in the magic of the evening. The second half of the program will also be opened by a local athlete, namely up-and-coming talent Lea Marie Castlunger.

The evening will be enhanced by performances by nationally and internationally renowned figure skaters, including Italian champion Lara Naki Gutmann and up-and-coming athlete Ginevra Lavinia Negrello. Gabriele Frangipani will delight the audience with spectacular jumps and captivating choreography, while the Italo-Icelandic pair of Julia Sylvia Gunnarsdottir and Manuel Piazza will tell a poetic story on the ice. Siblings Katerina Mrazkova and Daniel Mrazek, one of Europe's most promising ice dancing couples, will also be performing in Corvara. The Ice on Fire senior team will present a top-class synchronized figure skating show. The ice show will be accompanied by violinist Pierpaolo Foti, whose melodies will create a special atmosphere.

Ice hockey in Corvara: Bolzano vs. Broncos

The ice rink in Corvara will also host a top-class ice hockey match. On Saturday, August 16, at 20:30 p.m., a friendly match will take place between the HC Bozen – Foxes and the Wipptal Broncos. The Foxes have been holding their summer training camp in Corvara for several years, with training sessions both on the ice and in the mountains. This year, the professionals will be in Alta Badia from August 9 to 17.
