New addition to the cross-country skiing dream couple

These days, great news came from one of Italy's most famous winter sports athletes.

Fabien Pellegrino was born a few days ago – the second child of Federico Pellegrino and Greta Laurent, the cross-country skiing power couple. The little boy was born at the Beauregard Hospital in Aosta.

The parents announced the birth themselves via social media. Following the arrival of their son Alexis in December 2022, the Pellegrino-Laurent family continues to grow.

Federico Pellegrino had already returned to Gressoney in the days before the birth to support his wife—he had previously ended his competitive season. With this newfound family happiness, preparations now begin for his final season, which will culminate in the 2026 Olympic Games in Milan-Cortina.
