Dominik Fischnaller finishes in the top 10

The men's individual luge competition took place in Lake Placid (USA) on Saturday. A South Tyrolean athlete made it into the top 10.

South Tyrol's luge athletes are currently in the United States, specifically in Lake Placid, New York. The second men's singles race took place on Saturday, but it didn't bring any major success for the South Tyroleans. The best Italian was Dominik Fischnaller, who finished seventh.

Two other South Tyroleans also took part: Alex Gufler from Platt in Passeier and Leon Felderer from Latzfons. While Gufler finished 21st, Felderer was eliminated this time – last week he sensationally finished third in Park City.

The individual victory went to Germany's Felix Loch, who prevailed by a minimal margin of 0,054 seconds over his compatriot Max Langenhan. Third place went to Wolfgang Kindl of Austria (+0,203 seconds).
