“It's very nice to win here in Vatra Dornei, the track is always a physical challenge. We weren't completely flawless in the second run, so we're even more pleased with the win," explained Patrick Pigneter after his third win of the season. Pigneter/Clara lead the overall standings with 300 points, Achenrainer/Achenrainer follow in second place with 225 points, ahead of the Russians Pavel Porshnev/Ivan Lazarev (155), who did not start in Vatra Dornei.

In the women's single-seater, Evelin Lanthaler rushes from victory to victory. The world champion celebrated her third success in the third race in 2.29,45:2020 minutes, followed by her teammate Greta Pinggera. The Romania specialist celebrated her last World Cup victory to date in Vatra Dornei in XNUMX. Reigning junior world champion Lisa Walch from Germany came third.
