Celina Haller on the rise

Two women's European Cup slaloms took place recently in Les Diablerets, Switzerland. Celina Haller put in a great performance.

After finishing 10th the day before, Haller finished 4th in the second slalom on Wednesday. For the 24-year-old from Schenna, who gained two places in the final, this is the best European Cup result. Another South Tyrolean, Laura Steinmair (26th), was able to score points. The Olanger had finished 14th the day before.

Haller was just 12 hundredths away from her first podium finish on Wednesday. The winner was Lisa Hörhager (Austria) and the Swiss Anuk Braendli (Switzerland), who finished at the same time. Third place went to the young Swede Moa Landstroem. Top favorite Aline Danioth, who had finished second the day before, was eliminated in the second slalom.
