It was one of the biggest gossip topics of this summer. Lucas Braathen, superstar of the ski scene, has a new girlfriend. His Brazilian compatriot Isadora Cruz won the 25-year-old's heart – and thus, a new glamour couple was born in Brazil. While Braathen is one of the best skiers in the world, Cruz is a well-known actress in her home country.

Braathen and Cruz have repeatedly shown their love on Instagram, for example, on a shared vacation to Ibiza. Now the two have spoken publicly about their new romance for the first time. In Milan, Braathen, who has long raced for Norway and has been competing for Brazil for a year, presented a new skincare product. His girlfriend Isadora was by his side – and chatted to VG from the sewing box.

"I'm proud of him and happy to be here," said the actress. Then she gives insight into how the couple's relationship began. "I don't think we've ever spoken about it publicly. But we met by chance in New York. I fell in love with him immediately. So, yes, for me it was love at first sight," she says with a smile.

"We'll see," he says, adding, "Ultimately, she's the one I love and the one I can share my life and my dreams with. She has dreams just as big, but in a completely different way than I do. I'm very grateful to share my life with someone who inspires me." Now that's true love!
