Former ski racer Roland Thöni died suddenly and unexpectedly on Easter Sunday at the age of 70.

A sad time and always sad news...
We find it difficult to understand this abrupt end.
We remained loyal to Sulden for 27 years and came too
outside the ski season. Now turned into this
Corona season got in the way, although we had hope
somehow still come. WE would love to have each other
goodbye, unfortunately things turned out differently...
We will never forget his warmth towards us.
We mourn with his family and everyone who cares for him
Remember, he will be in the hearts of very, very many people
live on.
Our thoughts are with him, the “little mom” and that
entire Meergans family from Frankfurt (Oder)
with all our friends who we brought to Sulden.
