For the ski stars, a World Cup season isn't just about fame and glory, not just victories and crystal globes, but also about the cash. The prize money in the premier class of skiing is impressive; a World Cup victory typically brings 47.000 Swiss francs, which is equivalent to around 49.000 euros.
So who has the edge in this special prize money list? Unsurprisingly, the Federico Brignone for women and Marco Odermatt in the men's category. The two overall World Cup winners earned by far the most money.
