The FIS Corona task force then decided that the World Cup entourage can travel on to the USA, where four races - two each Super-G and downhill - are to be held in Beaver Creek next week. Drivers from the US team affected The one person who correctly tested positive - according to Waldner, an athlete from the USA - had minimal contact with others and will comply with the mandatory quarantine of ten days in Canada. Several cases would have posed a significant problem for the World Cup, because without a negative Corona status, entry into the USA on Monday via a charter flight from Calgary would not have been possible. There was also apparently talk of canceling the races in Beaver Creek. In any case, of the three races scheduled for this weekend in Canada, only one could be held. On Friday, the first of two runs was canceled due to the winter conditions; it will now be made up in Beaver Creek. Sunday's Super-G could take place in Bormio at the end of the year.
