No Kvitfjell training on Thursday

At the men's ski world cup in Kvitfjell (NOR), the final training on Thursday had to be cancelled. The races start on Friday.

The weather is throwing a wrench into the organizers' plans in Kvitfjell. The downhill training planned for Thursday had to be cancelled in the morning hours. The reason: too warm temperatures and strong gusts of wind.

The first of two World Cup downhill races will take place in Norway on Friday at 10.30:2 a.m., before the next downhill race continues on Saturday. The final event on Sunday will be a Super-G (also at 10.30:XNUMX a.m.).

Casse injured

This leaves the Training on Wednesday the only indicator before the races. Miha Hrobat (SLO) was the fastest. Dominik Paris (2nd) was also fast, as were the Swiss Guard around Franjo von Allmen (3rd) and Alexis Monney (4th).

For the Italian Mattia Casse, however, training ended in hospital. Casse, who was the best speed rider this winter, suffered a broken elbow in a fall. (Click here for the article).
