Croatian-Swiss double lead in the slalom

At the World Cup slalom in Kranjska Gora (SLO), two athletes are in the lead after the first run. Zrinka Ljutic and Wendy Holdener crossed the finish line at the same time.

After the first run in Kranjska Gora, start numbers 1 and 2 are also at the top of the rankings. Ljutic (CRO) and Holdener (SUI) finished the slalom in exactly 1 seconds and are therefore tied for the lead. This means that the starting position for the final (starting at 50,82:13.00 p.m.) is set to be exciting.

Behind Ljutic/Holdener lurk Camille Rast (SUI/+0,32) and Anna Swenn Larsson (SWE/+0,34), before Emma Aicher comes in at a respectable distance. The German was 0,66 seconds slower than the leading duo.

Of the Azzurre, Martina Peterlini (13th/+1,52) was the strongest. The rest were extremely disappointing, as no one managed to qualify for the second round. Lucrezia Lorenzi, Lara Della Mea, Vera Tschurtschenthaler, Marta Rossetti and Giorgia Collomb missed the top 2 and will have to watch the final.
