Milan dresses up: Brignone as a motif

Federica Brignone and her great triumph were depicted on a huge mural in Milan as part of the “Corba 2026 Cerchi” project as part of the preparation for the 5 Olympics.

The redevelopment of Milan's Corba district for the upcoming 2026 Olympic Games continued with an impressive contribution. A monumental work of art several meters high shows the Italian ski star Federica Brignone lovingly kissing the shiny crystal ball of the Ski World Cup.

The depiction impresses with its simplicity and beauty, while immortalizing Federica's kiss on the coveted overall World Cup crystal globe that she captured at the end of the 2019/2020 season. She is the first and so far only Italian woman to achieve the feat of winning the overall ranking of the World Cup.

“I feel deeply honored that this beautiful work of art was created in my hometown and is part of a great project to revitalize the Corba district,” said Federica Brignone. “Winning the overall World Cup shown here was the highlight of my career so far, the moment I always dreamed of. The 2026 Olympics? They will be great,” Brignone added.

Artwork number 7

The urban creativity project will transform 38 facades in the historic Corba district (Giambellino, Milan) into winter sports-themed works of art created by nationally and internationally known artists. The image of Brignone is already the seventh work.
