Including some new features: This is the new ski calendar.

The provisional Ski World Cup calendar includes 82 races next winter, significantly more than in this Olympic year.

Despite the World Championships in Crans-Montana (February 1-14, 2027), seven more races are planned than this season. The men will compete for World Cup points 43 times, the women 39 times.

As usual, the World Cup will make several stops in South Tyrol. A men's Super-G and a downhill race will take place in Val Gardena on December 18th and 19th. From December 20th to 21st, the classic giant slalom and, for the first time, a night slalom race will be held in Val Badia. The women will also compete in the giant slalom at Kronplatz in South Tyrol on January 19th, 2027.

Double return

The traditional men's speed races in Bormio and the women's in Cortina d'Ampezzo will return this World Cup winter. The races were dropped from the calendar this season because the Olympic alpine skiing events are being held on the Stelvio and Olimpia delle Tofane slopes. Lenzerheide (Switzerland) is also returning to the women's calendar.

The season kicks off as usual with the giant slalom in Sölden (October 24/25). As in the previous winter, the season concludes with a final in Sun Valley (March 20-25, 2027). The final and official calendars will be confirmed by the FIS Council by spring 2026.
