However, the now 33-year-old did not want to end her career because of this, and so Tippler slowly felt her way back. A year ago she made her comeback as a forerunner, and this year the speed specialist wanted to compete in races again. But that did not happen.

Tippler ended her season early without a single race – and also criticized the trainers and the association. Small newspaper The Austrian said that she "couldn't always understand" many decisions. "While others were given assignments, I was told that I had a different body language and I was repeatedly asked whether I still wanted to do it 100 percent. I mean, what's the point?"

The ski mom adds: "I'm not saying that I did everything perfectly. But we could have done a lot of things better together. Maybe I hoped for too much, but it would have been nice if there had been a good plan."

What will happen next with Tippler is anyone's guess. "I will now check the situation and think about how to proceed. Then we will definitely sit down together again," she told the Kleine Zeitung. In any case, she does not want to rule anything out at this point.
