After 25 years, a Val Gardena resident on the Saslong again

It was December 18, 1999, a Saturday. It was the day on which two speed skiers from Val Gardena, Peter Runggaldier and Daniel Dorigo, competed in a World Cup race on the Saslong for the last time. On Friday, the long period without a "home skier" will come to an end: Max Perathoner from Selva will throw himself out of the start house with the number 2 in the Super-G.

In the Super-G (Friday, 11.45 a.m.), Max Perathoner will be the first Val Gardena racer to compete in a Speed World Cup since 1999.
