After horrific fall in Val Gardena: Norwegian man is flown home
Norwegian ski racer Fredrik Möller is being brought back home after his serious crash in Val Gardena and will continue his treatment there. He has been diagnosed with fractures in his back.

The 25-year-old speed specialist from Scandinavia is in good spirits and looking forward to coming home this weekend, his team said.
Further examinations revealed minor fractures in his back, which, however, did not require surgery. The athlete's teeth were also repaired. Möller lost two teeth in his accident on Thursday.

The Norwegian suffered a heavy crash in the first of two downhill races on the legendary Saslong slope in Val Gardena, received lengthy treatment, and was then taken to the hospital in Bolzano. On Friday evening, Möller took to his social media channels to speak out. Under a picture showing his new gaps in his teeth, he posted: "Thanks for all the messages! The doctors say I'll be able to move properly again in 30 days, keep your fingers crossed for me at the Olympics."
