Sara Thaler recharges her self-confidence in St. Moritz

Sara Thaler secured a podium finish for South Tyrol at the Women's European Cup Super-G in St. Moritz (Switzerland).

Thaler finished third on Thursday – behind the two Austrians Leonie Zegg and Anna Schilcher. The 21-year-old from Val Gardena crossed the finish line four-tenths of a second behind Zegg. For Thaler, who also regularly competes in the World Cup, it was her sixth podium finish in the European Cup.

Vicky Bernardi from Val Badia, however, had to settle for 16th place in St. Moritz. The race was then cancelled due to weather conditions after 41 skiers had finished.
