Atle Lie McGrath won the slalom in Alta Badia. The Norwegian triumphed ahead of the leader at the halfway point, Clement Noel of France (+0,30 seconds), and the Swiss skier Loic Meillard (+0,39). While it was McGrath's fourth World Cup victory, his teammate Timon Haugan – who currently leads the slalom World Cup standings – finished in fourth place despite severe back pain.
