The name Prevc overshadows everything.

At the start of the Two Nights Tour, Nika Prevc, sister of Slovenian ski jumping star Domen Prevc, presented herself in her best light.

On Thursday afternoon, Prevc prevailed in Garmisch-Partenkirchen with jumps of 136,5 and 134,5 meters, winning with 271,1 points, well ahead of German ski jumper Selina Freitag (248,0) and Japan's Nozomi Maruyama (244,1). Austrian Lisa Eder missed the podium by a mere 4,2 points. For Prevc, the excitement continues just a few hours later – or rather, for her brother Domen. After his opening victory at the Four Hills Tournament in Oberstdorf, he aims to stand atop the podium in Garmisch as well. The qualification round for the New Year's Day jump is scheduled for 4:00 PM.

The second World Cup event of the Two Nights Tour takes place on New Year's Day in Oberstdorf (4:15 p.m.). Prevc is poised for her third overall victory in the third edition of the tour. This could be the last, as the tour might be replaced next season by the inaugural Four Hills Tournament for women.
