The Norwegians jump like from another planet

At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Trondheim (Norway), the local heroes once again caused a sensation.

Whether in cross-country skiing, Nordic combined or ski jumping: the Norwegians are in a medal rush these days. On Wednesday, the Scandinavians won the next gold medal in the ski jumping mixed team competition - and in impressive fashion. Anna Odine Ström, Marius Lindvik, Eirin Maria Kvandal and Johann André Fofang ended up with a lead of 61,1 points over the competition - an incredible result!

Silver went to the Slovenians Ema Klinec, Domen Prevc, Nika Prevc and Anze Lanisek, while the Austrian quartet took home a celebrated bronze medal. Although it rained in Trondheim - once again - Eva Pinkelnig, Stefan Kraft, Jacqueline Seifriedsberger and Jan Hörl were beaming. Germany came away empty-handed after five mixed world championship titles in a row and had to settle for fourth place.
