Austrian triple victory in Lillehammer

The ski jumping event in Lillehammer ended with an Austrian triple victory.

Daniel Tschofenig led an Austrian sweep in Lillehammer (NOR). The reigning Four Hills Tournament champion jumped from fourth place to victory in the final, leaving Jan Hörl (2nd) and the halfway leader Stefan Kraft (3rd) behind. No Italians competed in the final.


The women's large hill ski jumping final in Lillehammer took place without any South Tyrolean competitors. Annika Sieff (17th) was the best and only Italian in the standings. Victory went to Nozomi Maruyama, who achieved the longest jump in both rounds. Abigail Strate (CAN/2nd) and Lisa Eder (AUT/3rd) completed the podium.
