Pierpaolo Bisoli meets FC Südtirol in 2 weeks.

Bisoli presented near Modena: “Fighting together”

Pierpaolo Bisoli started his duties at Modena Football Club at the beginning of the week. The former FCS coach was officially introduced on Wednesday.

“We have little time. In these 5 games we have to work mainly on the mental area,” were Pierpaolo Bisoli’s first words as Modena coach. The former FCS coach has signed a contract with the Emilians until June 2025. In the remaining season, Bisoli should save the “Canaries” from relegation to Serie C. “Fighting together” is Bisoli’s motto.

Bisoli didn't say a word about his former employer, the FCS. Nevertheless, the duel with the white-reds on April 27th is probably already in the back of the coach's mind. First on the agenda for Bisoli is his debut on the Modena bench against Ascoli (Saturday). “It will be a classic Serie B game where every second ball is important. It's a direct duel. It will be difficult, but we can’t be afraid.” Words that are familiar from Bisoli from past FCS times.

Bisoli replaced Bianco

Bisoli took over Modena after coach Paolo Bianco was fired. The former Juventus assistant coach represented a completely different style than Bisoli preferred. Bianco played possession football and was very successful in Modena for a while. Recently, however, the shape curve pointed sharply downwards. When the club saw relegation in danger, Bianco was released. Spicy: In the fall, Bianco and Bisoli got in each other's way when they met at the Drusus Stadium. The then Modena coach complained about Bisoli's behavior after the match. He dismissed the dispute as a small matter. Shortly before, the two brawlers could only be separated with difficulty on the field after the final whistle.
