FCS jewel in the national team for the first time

Two FC Südtirol players were called up for their national teams this Thursday – including an exceptional 17-year-old talent.

Dhirar Brik He's only turning 18 in ten days, but he's currently on everyone's lips. The FCS homegrown player has already made three appearances in midfield for the White and Reds this Serie B season, and has now been called up to the Tunisian U23 national team.


Brik was born in Rovereto and grew up in Trentino, but he has nevertheless chosen – at least for the time being – to represent his father's home country. He will play for Tunisia in two U23 friendlies against Iraq in mid-October.

FC South Tyrol goalkeeper Marius adamonis has been nominated by Lithuania's national team manager Edgaras Jankauskas for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in October. The 28-year-old will face Finland away with his home country on October 9, then face the Polish national team at home on October 12.
