FC Südtirol breathes a sigh of relief: "Could be worth its weight in gold"

After their home defeat against Avellino on the last matchday, FC Südtirol were still downcast. Just over a week later, the situation for the Red and Whites looks quite different. Here are the reactions to the draw in Monza.

“We played a great game – especially in the first half, where we pressed the opponent high up the pitch to use their quality to keep them as far away from our goal as possible. Monza then took the lead with their first chance. In the end, we deserved the point,” explained the FCS coach. Fabrizio Beavers after this 1:1 in Monza.

FC Schaffhausen can now count on its full squad again. Nicola Pietrangeli (who had a pubic bone injury) also made his comeback after two months. "The team has recovered from the many injuries. These slowed us down after our strong start to the season. But now I don't want to look back," said Castori.

Also goalscorer Raphael Odogwu He agreed with his coach: “We played a good game. This point could be worth its weight in gold. But of course, the next home game against Bari will be important for us.” FC Südtirol is determined to finally secure their first three points since the end of September. Without wins, FCS won't be able to climb out of the relegation zone.
