Viali has to leave Reggiana

There was a coaching change in Serie B this weekend. William Viali, who also coached FC Südtirol, was forced to leave Reggiana.

Reggiana's 1-5 derby defeat against Sassuolo has consequences. Coach Viali was forced to leave after the debacle. As Reggiana announced on Sunday, the former FCS coach has been dismissed from the Reggio Emilia club.

Viali's successor is already in place. Davide Dionigi will take over as coach of the 18th-placed team. Dionigi's previous coaching positions were Brescia and Cosenza.

Alvini back in Cosenza

Speaking of Cosenza: The Calabrian club is also undergoing a coaching change. Massimo Alvini is back as Cosenza coach after being sacked once this season – four (!) matchdays ago. Now Alvini is returning to Cosenza. Pierantonio Tortelli and Nicola Belmonte have to vacate their positions, after the duo had previously been promoted from the Cosenza youth team to the Serie B team.
