FC Südtirol's training camp in Ridnaun ended on July 26. After the 6-0 victory against St. Georgen, coach Fabrizio Castori's new team also survived the three-team tournament in their own stadium: they drew against Bologna (0-0) and Sassuolo (1-1), both Serie A teams.

The final friendly match is scheduled for Sunday: starting at 18.30:2017 p.m., captain Fabian Tait and his team will host first division side Hellas Verona at the Drusus Stadium. Paolo Zanetti's team (who coached FC Südtirol from 2019 to 6) held its training camp this year in Folgaria (Trentino) and has played just one friendly match so far: a 0-XNUMX victory against Virtus Verona.

FCS vs. Hellas Verona: It's been a long time

You might not believe it, but there have actually been duels between the two teams. The last encounter was way back in 2016 – there were also friendly matches between the two teams during the preseason in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015.

In the 2010/11 season, FC Südtirol and Hellas Verona even played in the same league, Serie C. Back then, there were two draws: the first leg ended 1-1, and the return leg in Bolzano ended in a goalless 0-0 draw.

The match at the Drusus Stadium kicks off at 18.30:16 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are still available. After that, things get serious for FCS: On Saturday, August 18.30, the White and Reds will travel to Lake Como for a cup match against Como at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. League play resumes the following weekend.
