Eva Schatzer from Vahrn started the new year with a success. On Sunday evening, the South Tyrolean won the Supercup with Juventus.

A 2-1 victory over Roma secured Juventus the Super Cup title. Cristina Girelli scored both goals, but Schatzer also played a part. The South Tyrolean, who has long been a regular starter for the Turin side, provided the assist for the Bianconere's first goal.

For Juventus Women, it was their fifth Super Cup victory in history. The triumph in Pescara, where the final took place, was followed by a long night of celebrations – as can easily be seen from posts on social media.
