Inter takes the Supercup more seriously

This year, the Italian Supercup will be held in Saudi Arabia. In the first semi-final, Inter beat Atalanta.

The two best Serie A teams (Inter and Milan) and the cup finalists (Juventus and Atalanta) will play the Supercoppa in Riyadh. On Thursday evening, Inter beat Atalanta 2-0. The match winner was Denzel Dumfries with a brace. First, the Dutchman scored with a scissor-kick and then with a powerful long-range shot.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi barely changed his starting eleven compared to the league. On the other hand, Atalanta's Gian Piero Gasperini gave several regular players a rest at the start. Others were allowed to play, such as Zaniolo and Scalvini, who was back in the starting eleven for the first time since his cruciate ligament injury. Juventus and Milan will face each other in the second semi-final on Friday. The final will then take place in Riyadh on Monday.
