Coppa Italia: Dream goal leads Inter into the quarter-finals

With a confident win against Udinese, Inter secured their place in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia on Thursday evening.

Inter have secured their place in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia with a confident 2-0 win against Udinese. In a match dominated by the hosts, coach Simone Inzaghi's team put in a strong performance and left no doubt about their ambition to go far in the competition. While Udinese rarely posed a threat, the Nerazzurri used their chances effectively and impressed with a structured and focused performance.

The first half was characterised by Inter's dominance and clear offensive drive. In the 30th minute, Marko Arnautovic provided the first highlight of the evening when he calmly and precisely put the ball into the right corner after a pass from Mehdi Taremi. Shortly before half-time, Kristjan Asllani made another statement when he turned a corner straight into the net - a dream goal that increased the half-time score to 2-0. Udinese had difficulty getting into the game and could hardly challenge Milan's solid defence.

In the second half, Inter didn't let anything slip. The Nerazzurri remained focused and controlled the game without taking unnecessary risks. Udinese managed to gain more possession, but real chances were in short supply. The fashion city's defense was steadfast and left no doubt about the deserved victory.

With this success, Inter advanced to the quarter-finals, where they will face Lazio.
