Obermais releases players

FC Obermais is restructuring its squad at the start of the winter transfer window. Before any new signings are announced, space has been made available. Three players have left the Serie D club.

While South Tyrolean amateur football goes into hibernation after this weekend, FC Obermais will (almost) continue playing their Serie A campaign. To achieve their goal of staying in Italy's fourth division, the squad will undergo some restructuring in the coming weeks. The first departures have now been confirmed.

Felix Lintner Lintner is leaving Obermais after a year and a half. The striker joined from regional league side Terlan in the summer of 2024 and is now returning there. Lintner made five appearances in Serie D this season (99 minutes played). Philipp Ploner Ploner is no longer with FCO. The defender from Lüsen only played for the youth team in the fall – partly because he couldn't participate in preseason training in the summer. Ploner (born in 2006) is trying his luck with SSV Ahrntal in the Oberliga (fifth tier).

Our Marlind Bahaj Another defender has left the club. 19-year-old Bahaj arrived in the summer from FC Südtirol's Primavera team and made two starts. Since these were his only Serie D appearances, the full-back is now looking for a new challenge. Bahaj's next destination is still unclear, but a move abroad seems likely. He is also currently exploring other options. David Zanon Possible options. The Trentino native (three appearances), who came from AC Trento's Primavera team, is not yet gone. The club wants to keep Zanon; he even participated in the final training session for the Altavilla match.
