Six-point game to close out 2025

FC Obermais has a crucial six-pointer on Sunday to conclude the first half of the season. They will face San Luigi at 2:30 pm at their home ground on the Lahn.

Obermais official Christian Platzer doesn't mince words. "The home game against San Luigi is extremely important for us," says the sporting director of South Tyrol's only Serie D club. A quick glance at the table shows why: With a win, Obermais could overtake the Trieste-based club and simultaneously climb out of the relegation zone.

With four points from their last three games, Obermais has boosted their confidence. However, Friulians have also picked up points – and signed a new striker in Luca Forte, who scored in his very first appearance last week. FC Obermais, on the other hand, has yet to make any winter signings.

After the home game against San Luigi, the FCO players have a short winter break scheduled. However, it won't be long, as the first game of the new year is already on January 4th.
