In the duel with Nischler: Eva Schatzer scores for Juventus

In women's football, the focus from South Tyrol's perspective was on the duel between Eva Schatzer and Nadine Nischler at the weekend. The local professional footballers once again showed their skills.

Eva Schatzer and Nadine Nischler are two rising stars in women's football. Schatzer scored the final goal with a left-footed shot in Juventus' 4-1 win over Como. The 19-year-old now has two goals this season and is a central midfielder for the league leaders. Nischler, on the other hand, set up the goal for Como with a great backheel. The 23-year-old is also having the season of her life.

Lost in the Austrian Bundesliga Elisa Pfattner (she played the whole game) with Neulengbach at Sturm Graz with 0:1. Melanie Kuenrath and the Dornbirn Ladies, however, were not in action because their game in Altach had to be cancelled due to weather conditions.

In Serie C, the FCS Women at home against Tavagnacco, the score was 0:0. In the table, FC Südtirol is in sixth place.
