The FCS ladies make a big leap

The ladies of FC Südtirol celebrated a landslide victory in Serie C. For Juve player Eva Schatzer, however, a series came to an end.

It was a clear thing: The FCS ladies won an undisputed 5-0 victory against Serie C bottom club Ravenna. The women in white and red needed a while to get going and so the score was "only" 1-0 after the first half (goal by Vuerich/34th). After the break, however, the South Tyroleans increased the score. Bielak (55th), Vuerich again (59th), Fischer (73rd) and Huber (90th) scored the goals.

This victory has allowed the FCS ladies to make a big leap forward. Because Vicenza and Trento slipped up, Anna Katharina Peer & Co. overtook these two teams and are now in second place in the rankings. However, they are a whopping nine points behind leaders Venezia.

Defeats for Schatzer and Nischler

In Serie A, Eva Schatzer and Juventus had to leave the field as losers for the first time this season. In the top match against Roma, the Bianconere lost 1:3. Schatzer played the whole game and despite the defeat, Juventus remain in first place, four points ahead of their closest rivals Inter. The Milanese team also won 1:1 against Como, where Nadine Nischler, the second South Tyrolean professional player, is in action. The Naturno native played the whole game.
