Oberliga champions in 2023, third place in Serie C in 2024, and third division runners-up last season. FC Südtirol Women have been steadily on the rise. Will they now be heading for Serie B? "Our goal is a playoff spot," FCS coach Marco Castellaneta clarified. Starting this season, the champions will no longer be promoted directly. The top two teams in the four third division groups will compete in the playoffs for the only two Serie B spots.

FC Südtirol Women's third Serie C season begins on Sunday (3:30 p.m.) against newly promoted Dolomiti Bellunesi in Rungg. The FCS women also aim for Serie B, but the competition is fierce.
