Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo believes he is more famous than Donald Trump. "Wherever I go, it's a circus," says Ronaldo.

"I think there is no one in the world more famous than me," said the Portuguese man in the second part as a guest of the format. Piers Morgan Uncensored Regarding his level of fame compared to the US president, Ronaldo is not happy about it. "I wish I weren't so famous. I wanted to be successful, but I didn't want to be this famous," said the 40-year-old.


Ronaldo said he would like to meet Trump for a conversation: "He is one of the most important people in the world." Trump can make things happen and "change the world," Ronaldo emphasized, linking this to the hope for more peace in the world.

In an interview with British presenter Piers Morgan, Ronaldo also defended his decision not to attend the funeral of his national teammate Diogo Jota. He explained that he hadn't been to a funeral since his father's death. Attending Jota's funeral would have drawn all the attention to himself, which he didn't want. "Wherever I go, it's a circus," Ronaldo said.
