England on course for the World Cup – Haaland scores five goals

England has taken a big step toward the World Cup. Meanwhile, Norway didn't let up in the Italy group.

The Three Lions beat Serbia 5-0 (2-0) away, securing their fifth win in five qualifying matches. Harry Kane (33rd minute), Noni Madueke (35th minute), Ezri Konsa (52nd minute), Marc Guehi (75th minute), and Marcus Rashford (90th minute/penalty) scored the goals against the previously unbeaten Serbs.

Austria's national team is also on course for the World Cup, having won the top match against Bosnia-Herzegovina 2-1 (0-0). Marcel Sabitzer (49th minute) and Konrad Laimer (65th minute) scored against the previously undefeated hosts. Edin Dzeko (50th minute) scored the equalizer. Shortly before the final whistle, the Austrians suffered the dismissal of Patrick Wimmer (90th minute).

Haaland outstanding

Superstar Erling Haaland enjoyed a spectacular evening with Norway, who triumphed 11-1 (5-0) against Moldova. Haaland scored five goals (11', 36', 43', 52', 83'), and Thelo Aasgaard added four (67', 76', 79', 90'+1'). Felix Myhre (6') and Martin Ödegaard (45'+1') also scored. With their fifth win in five matches, the Scandinavians are clearly on course for a World Cup qualification ahead of Italy in their group.
