Against Italy: This is Germany's squad
National coach Julian Nagelsmann brings Bayern Munich professional Leon Goretzka back to the national football team after 16 months.

The 30-year-old midfielder, whom Nagelsmann dropped a year ago during his major personnel shake-up for the 2024 European Championship at home, is part of the 23-player squad for the Nations League quarter-final against Italy.
The only newcomer in the DFB squad for the first leg on March 20 in Milan and the decisive second match three days later in Dortmund is defender Yann Aurel Bisseck (24) from Inter.
