Transfer splitters | Big names and new challenges
The international transfer window closes tomorrow, Friday evening. With around 24 hours to go, things are heating up. We present the most important deals here.

Romelu Lukaku is leaving Chelsea FC for good and is moving to Napoli for 30 million euros. There the 31-year-old can work again with his former mentor Antonio Conte, with whom he won the championship at Inter. Another well-known striker changed clubs on Thursday. Wout Weghorst (32), who last played for Hoffenheim, is returning to the Dutch league to join Ajax Amsterdam.
The transfer of Federico Chiesa to Liverpool is a done deal. As Juventus announced on Thursday, the transfer fee for the winger is 12 million, plus a further 3 million as a bonus. The 26-year-old played for Juventus for four seasons and his contract was due to expire next summer. According to Chiesa himself, he never received an offer to extend his contract, nor asked for a pay rise.
Federico Chiesa is a Liverpool player.
Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizagabalaga (29) goes on loan to Bournemouth FC. Paris defender Nordi Mukiele (26) is moving back to the Bundesliga, where he is being loaned from champions Bayer Leverkusen. Leverkusen's defender Odilon Kossounou (23) to Atalanta – also on loan. Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko (19) is loaned to Nice with an option to buy. BVB-Six Salih Özca goes to Wolfsburg on loan.
Fiorentina has signed Milan’s midfielder Yacine adli (24) borrowed. Joao Cancelo (30) moves from Manchester City to Al-Hilal for 25 million euros. Atalanta, on the other hand, has goalkeeper Rui Patricio and winger Juan Cuadrado Both are 36 years old. Goalkeeper Juan Musso (30) to Atletico Madrid. Napoli has made room for Lukaku and walid cheddira (26) to Espanyol Barcelona. Brighton have signed the Turkish left-back Ferdi Kadioglu (24) for 30 million. The Croatian Ante Rebic (30) has returned to Serie A – to Lecce. Former Juve defender Alex Sandro (33) returns to his Brazilian homeland (to Flamengo).
