Kaltern's coup: The top scorer stays for another year

The reigning IHL champions are already busy planning their squad for the new season. Now, an important personnel change has been confirmed.

Florian Wieser is staying on for another year! This news pleases SV Kaltern, but their opponents are somewhat less pleased. The 36-year-old striker is not only an excellent ice hockey player, but also someone who likes to provoke.

Last season, Wieser was a fundamental piece of the Kaltern championship team. 52 points in the regular season, 18 in the playoffs – that's a huge number that made Wieser the team's top scorer.

After the end of the championship, there was speculation about a possible retirement, but nothing came of it: the veteran, who played in the Alps Hockey League for a long time during his career, is entering another season.
