SV Kaltern continued its impressive form in the current IHL season on Thursday evening and confidently defeated the HC Falcons from Brixen 4:0. Kaltern took the lead early in the game with goals from Matteo Cappuccio (2.14) and Mattia Clericuzio (4.55) and never let the Falcons get into the game. They also extended their lead in the second period with goals from Mikael Oskari Siiki (23.57) and Raphael Felderer (25.21).
But the Pikes remained hungry even after the 4-0 lead and went one better in the third period. Moritz Selva scored the 5-0 before Florian Wieser scored two goals - one in the power play - to make it 7-0. Mattia Clericuzio put the final point on the scoreboard to make it 8-0. The result underlined the existing dominance of Kaltern, who maintained their position at the top of the table with this victory.
