Stefan Mair is leaving Serie A and going to Schwenningen
The news hit like a bombshell: Stefan Mair is leaving Serie A after six successful seasons with Bozen, Fassa, Pustertal and Cortina and is going to the Schwenninger Wild Wings in the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga. The 44-year-old from Bolzano (Mair will celebrate his 45th birthday in eleven days) is the first South Tyrolean coach to take over a German second division team.
