A convincing victory behind them: Wolves host Graz
HC Falkensteiner Pustertal kicked off the new ICE Hockey League (ICEHL) season with a thrilling victory in Innsbruck. However, a much tougher challenge awaits them in their first home game against Graz on Sunday.

The Wolves made a big statement with their 8-1 victory in the Tyrolean derby in Innsbruck (SportNews reported)Henry Bowlby and Cole Bardreau in particular impressed, each scoring three goals and providing two assists.
Tomorrow, Sunday, HCP's first home game of the season is scheduled. It's likely to be a much more challenging one. The guests at Bruneck's Intercable Arena are the Graz 99ers, who are expected to be significantly stronger than the Innsbruck Sharks. Graz had a bye on the first matchday; last year, the 99ers, after finishing fifth in the regular season, were eliminated in the playoffs by the Black Wings Linz. Last year, Graz won all four games against HCP, one of them in overtime.
HCB Südtirol, which lost to Red Bull Salzburg in the opening match (click here for the match report) has a free game on Sunday.
