Bolzano is racing from victory to victory! The resurgent HCB Südtirol Alperia put on a masterful performance against record champions Klagenfurt on New Year's Day, sending a very clear signal to their arch-rivals in Bruneck.

HCB Südtirol Alperia defeated Klagenfurter AC 2-1 in overtime in their own arena, impressively making it clear: The derby against Pustertal can begin!
Two days before the third season showdown between the two arch-rivals The Wolves lost to the Pioneers Vorarlberg 5:6 after a penalty shootout.Meanwhile, Bolzano also had to put in extra work in Klagenfurt – albeit with a completely different reward. The Foxes dominated the game, firing 19 more shots than the league leaders and ultimately securing the bonus point thanks to Shane Gersich.
The fact that they only managed two points instead of three is something the Red-Whites can probably live with – especially since they showed a clear upward trend in their third consecutive game and ultimately celebrated their fifth win in six games under coach Doug Shedden.
