After just over an hour: Derby tickets sold out in a flash.

Tickets for the derby sold like hotcakes: The South Tyrolean ICE derby between HC Falkensteiner Pustertal and HCB Südtirol Alperia sold out in record time.

As HC Pustertal announced, tickets for yesterday's derby sold out in less than 75 minutes. The derby will take place next Saturday evening, January 3, 2026, at the Intercable Arena. Bruneck's ice hockey arena has a capacity of 3.100 spectators. Both teams are close in the standings this year, adding extra spice to the derby. It's about supremacy in South Tyrolean ice hockey.

Before the derby, both Pustertal and Bolzano still have games to play. The Foxes have three matches remaining – one of them at home on December 30th against the Pioneers Vorarlberg. The Wolves have two games beforehand. On New Year's Day, Pustertal also plays at home against Vorarlberg, before the derby kicks off two days later.
