After wild fights: Oilers go swimming in Florida
The Edmonton Oilers suffered a severe setback in the Stanley Cup final series.

The Canadians lost Game 1 to the Florida Panthers 6-2. The Panthers lead the best-of-seven series 1-XNUMX.
Brad Marchand gave the home team the lead in the first minute. Carter Verhaeghe (18th minute) increased the Panthers' lead to 2-0, before Edmonton's Corey Perry (22nd minute) narrowed the deficit to 1-2. The Florida team dominated the game from then on. Sam Reinhart (23rd minute), Sam Bennett (28th minute), Aaron Ekblad (44th minute), and Evan Rodrigues (57th minute) sealed the final score against a hopelessly inferior Oilers.

The biggest excitement in the third final game was not caused by the seven goals, but by a series of wild boxing matches and unpleasant scenes that broke out several times in the final phase and sent a number of players to the penalty box.
Game 4 of the Stanley Cup will take place again in Florida on Friday night in Europe. One of the two teams needs four wins to win the NHL trophy.
