NHL Playoffs: Toronto and Carolina unstoppable
Playoff time in the NHL! Last night (CEST) was once again a busy night in the world's top ice hockey league. The Maple Leafs and Hurricanes, in particular, were in the spotlight.

The Toronto Maple Leafs (vs. Ottawa Senators) and Carolina Hurricanes (vs. New Jersey Devils) took a 2-0 lead in their first-round series.
The Carolina Hurricanes have also won Game 2 of the best-of-7 series against the significantly improved Devils at the Lenovo Center. They earned a celebrated 3-1 home victory. Jordan Martinook's shorthanded goal just before the half was decisive, giving the Canes their first lead.
The Toronto Maple Leafs lead in the “Battle of Ontario” against the Ottawa Senators 2-0 thanks to a narrow 3-2 overtime victory at the Scotiabank Arena. Max Domi provided the redemption with the overtime winner.
Minnesota Wild with the Austrian striker Marco Rossi has against the Vegas Golden Knights Minnesota won 5-2 in Las Vegas on Tuesday and heads into their two home games on Thursday and Saturday in St. Paul with a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.
The master starts successfully
The Florida Panthers started the playoffs with a win. The reigning NHL champions defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Florida derby away to open the series 6-2. Matthew Tkachuk scored two goals and provided the assist for the final goal of the game.The current NHL results:
